Beaumont Municipal Airport is a city owned, public use airport located six nautical miles (7 mi, 11 km) west of the central business district of Beaumont, in Jefferson County, Texas, United States.〔 It is included in the National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2011–2015, which categorized it as a ''general aviation'' facility.〔 〕 Commercial airline service for Beaumont is operated from the Jack Brooks Regional Airport (BPT) located south of the city. == Facilities and aircraft == Beaumont Municipal Airport covers an area of 276 acres (112 ha) at an elevation of 32 feet (10 m) above mean sea level. It has two runways: 13/31 is 4,001 by 75 feet (1,220 x 23 m) with an asphalt surface; 16/34 is 2,050 by 75 feet (625 x 23 m) with a turf surface.〔 For the 12-month period ending July 30, 2011, the airport had 15,500 aircraft operations, an average of 42 per day: 97% general aviation and 3% military. At that time there were 24 aircraft based at this airport: 83% single-engine, 4% multi-engine, 4% jet, and 8% helicopter.〔
